QBSTA 900W Peak (300W RMS) 11" Quick Bass Spare Tire Amplified Subwoofer System with Remote Bass Level Control

Have only had it installed for about a week and a half but I’m thoroughly impressed with it. Fits in the spare tire of my 2017 VW gti and just barely touches the floorboard if you put it on the lowest level. My car did not have the Fender stereo so there was absolutely no bass from the door speakers. This sub will rattle the glass and vibrate the rearview mirror if you want it to You do need to cut about half off the bottom mounting adapter it comes with for Audi/VW so that the sub sits flush against the spare tire.

As good or better than expected. Well worth the money. Not the tightest bass for sure, but for a setup like this, it's great.

It definitely hits way above its class. I wasn't expecting so much bass out of a spare tire subwoofer.

Let’s start with what was in it when I bought it. The previous owner had stuffed a cheap, Chinese, under the seat 10” subwoofer under the driver’s seat and A. It didn’t fit and took up the rear passenger floor and B. It sounded atrocious.

I’ve owned a vehicle specific box and sub from NVX in a previous vehicle but not this style. I researched enough to know I wanted this style of sub and the fact it’s powered at this price made me give it a shot.

I’m glad I did. This rig is seriously impressive. I’m shocked at the amount of bass, the clarity, and the tightness of this thing! Sounds like two 10’s instead of a single. I’d buy it again and again.
